In honour of the most heart-wrenching trilogy ever…

Yes, I am indeed talking about the one and only The Infernal Devices trilogy. I’ve been rereading it, and yet again, my heart is a total mess. 😥 So, in order to seek some solace, I’ve decided to do TID-themed ‘Word of the Day’s for a week. Each day’s word will be in honour of one of the characters. I’d like to include all of the characters, of course, but it really depends on whether I can fetch up the perfect words for them. Suggestions would definitely be appreciated!

Right now, I’m basically reading Angels & Demons (FINALLYY!!! Yayy!!! 😀 ), Heir of Fire, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Anya and the Shy Guy, AND also rereading City of Heavenly Fire and Clockwork Princess. (Okaaay. I just realised… that’s quite a lot.) Buuut… for quoting purposes, obviously I’m gonna choose my beloved darling, Clockwork Princess (not that I don’t love the others, of course).

Let’s find something from page 56 now, shall we? 😀

Hermione Granger (Harry Potter, JK Rowling) – Well, it’s obvious, isn’t it? This is the first name that comes to my mind when I think of bookish characters. I bet most of the lists today will be featuring her! 😉

I guess the title explains it. Basically, today at Maths class, I somehow (I’m still not sure how, exactly. As far as I remember, I was, quite sincerely, solving problems from the exercise…) ended up in a conversation about popular book-fandoms. It was all going well, until

I’m sure we all have had these experiences. Where we’ve come across book characters we just couldn’t stand and we hated them and what were they even doing in the books? Well, this list is for these characters. I hope you guys are up for a bit of ranting? 😉

[Note: At least three of the characters mentioned in this post are common favourites among readers. I know that after seeing their names in the list, some of you will come after me with a frying pan, taking inspiration from Tangled. Just know that I’ve kept myself well-armed… even if it’s only with chocolates. Chocolates are great shooting weapons, in case you didn’t know…]
