Thanks again abOOkishOwl for nominating me for this award! I don’t know how versatile I am, but I do try my best! 🙂
Rules:
- Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
- Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it.
- Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.
- Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award — you might include a link back to the post on your site announcing their nomination.
- Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.
7 Facts About Myself:
1. I have really big feet, which means I often don’t find shoes that match their size.
2. Which reminds me, I HATE shopping. Like, really. No. interest. at. all. Am I the only girl in this world who thinks like that?
3. I love learning about word origins. Did you know that the word ‘word’ has its origins in Old German, Old Dutch and Old Norse?
4. I have a lucky pen but I’m always too afraid to use it (for the fear that it’ll get finished up). Yeah, talk about irony…
5. Bees seem to have some sort of animosity towards me. I’ve been bitten five times by them. They always seem to enter the room from the window nearest to me and keep following me around everywhere. And I literally mean everywhere.
6. I love alliteration. It’s so wonderful! Just speak this out loud: “Listen to the lonely lunatic talk about his life’s lessons.”
Didn’t it sound beautiful to your own ears? ❤
7. I love to type! It’s one of my favourite things to do. Although I want to increase my speed… last time I checked, it was only 35 words per minute. 😦
My Nominees:
Joey @ thoughts and afterthoughts : When I think ‘versatile’, this is definitely the first blog that comes to my mind. You go, Joey!
shriyabeesam : Like I said, whatever I do, I must tag you in it. 😉
swxftbooks : Same goes for you, Reema. I love your posts! ❤
Danielle : Yess… another very versatile blog. I’m so glad I discovered it!
Sripurna : If I’m doing any sort of tag and I’m not tagging this girl in it, then there is probably something very wrong and you guys have the full authority to come and ask 😀
bookwormgirls123 : I discovered this one very recently and I’m so glad I did! It’s such a cool blog!
Umbreen : Talk about being versatile…
analeeluvsbooks : My newfound sister! ❤
Books’N’Feathers : Another blog that literally defines ‘versatile’…
hermionefowl @ Addlepates and Book Nerds : Ha, if you guys don’t know about this blog, then I don’t know what you’re doing with your lives…
alextheshadowgirl : You go, girl! You and your blog – both are amazing!
joysofbookworms : How can I ever forget you, my dear bookish friend? 😉
Lunatic Wanderer : Even when she’s not posting book reviews, her posts always soothe my nerves and help me get a hold on myself. It’s so serene and mesmerising and beautiful and you all should definitely check it out ❤
I know I was supposed to nominate 15 blogs, but my brain refuses to work right now, so I’ll end it here.

Hey that were some interesting facts. Even I have big feet (not beet you might want to correct that 😉 ) and I hate shopping too. Not every girl goes crazy over shopping. Thanks for nominating me. I’ll get to it as soon as I can. 🙂

Thanks for pointing that out, I typed this out yesterday night and I was feeling real sleepy… 😛
Wow, I’m glad I’m not alone in this! #don’tlikeshopping
Sure, I’ll look forward to reading your facts.. who knows, maybe they might match again! 😉

Thanks for the nomination! I enjoyed learning more about you – especially about your lucky pen 😉 Funnily enough, I have ridiculously small feet – I’m just shy of a size 5. That may have to do with the fact that I’m really short though… And by short, I mean 4’11. Yeah, not fun… 🙂

My shoe size varies with shoe and brand, but it’s usually around 7 or 8 😛
You’ll do the post too, right? I’ll be looking forward to your facts! 😀

Cool 🙂 Yes, I shall – though I don’t know when I’ll get to it… Hopefully sometime soon 😉

Ha ha I love typing too! 😉 I’ve actually been pretty lucky with bees I guess in comparison with other people (like yourself)! I’ve only been stung twice my whole life. Although they were both at the same time, which was quite painful. Thanks for the nomination! I consider you my newound sister too! ❤

Oh dear, that happened to me too, but I consider it to be one sting because it was all such a painful blur then… 😦
Aaand you’re very welcome, sis! ❤ I'll be looking forward to your post, so do it soon! 😉

Oh yeah, true, it hurt like hell! It was definitely something I don’t ever want to go through again. 😦
Ha ha I’ll be getting to it today, hopefully! 🙂

Neither do I, believe me. I think I’ve had enough bee-stings to last me lifetime… 😦
Yes, do that! 😀

You’re lucky you’re so cool, or I wouldn’t be able to overlook the fact that you hate shopping! (Just kidding… or am I?) I loved your facts, you chose super interesting ones. I’m sure I can come up with facts interesting enough to be worthy of this award! Thanks for tagging us! I love doing these things, but I never get around to it! (What size are your feet? Mine are a 10 in mens and womens.)

See? That’s always the general reaction! Sometimes I begin to think maybe I’m a Martian or something, dropped here as a human girl by mistake 😛
You will, don’t worry, you’re interesting enough on your own! 😀
Wow, your feet are even bigger than mine! I usually need an 8 here in India (do sizes differ with countries?)
LikeLiked by 1 person
I think so, because here in America an eight isn’t that big. (No offense, it’s still pretty big, but a lot of people wear it so it’s not really. Did that make sense?) I think I wore an eight in fourth grade. I don’t know what to do! Even my tens are getting too small! Silly you. You can’t be a Martian because aren’t, er, um, I totally real. (Smooth save, am I right?)

Here in India 8 or 9 (my usual sizes) are considered quite big and they’re almost always unavailable in the market. So I guess the size varies across countries… or maybe Indians just have smaller feet.
I wouldn’t call that ‘smooth’, exactly… but it’ll do! 😉

Nine and tens are a little harder to find, but not impossible. Sometimes it makes me mad because there’ll be these amazing shoes, and I’ll fall head over heels (see what I did there?) for them, and they’ll be size sevens!!!!!!! You lucky dainty Indians! You can call me the smooth master… maybe suave if you prefer. (I’ll alert you when I come up with something cleverer. So maybe never…)

I’m not even interested in shoes… I can just wear whatever, I don’t care. That’s why it’s not that big a problem for me 😉

Thanks! That means SO much to me (us).
Well… Maybe that question should be directed at Nikki. *cough cough* Alright, the straight answer- Nikki’s not done. 😛 I don’t mind, though. I’ll get on her case when she gets back from vacation. 🙂

You must tell her to get to them right away! I have already awakened the Goddess of Toothbrushes, remember, so if she doesn’t hurry up, I might ask the goddess to curse her with a toothbrush-less fortnight! She isn’t in need of yellow teeth now, is she? 😛

Hehe. Don’t worry; before vacation I was very strict and that will not change when she gets back, however much she’s used to five star hotels. 😉 Good point! No, and no one else wants her to have yellow teeth either- not a pretty sight!

Hi. Omg I just saw this because luckily I had the urge to read your blog. And thank you for your words ♡♡♡ I am so flattered. And I’m sorry because I still don’t know wordpress that much although it’s almost a year since I made my blog. I’m such a loser when it comes to tinkering the web. Anyway, thank you so much and I really appreciate your words 🙂 ♡♡

And by the way, after your latest post on a**holes, I don't think you have the right to call yourself a loser… 😉 I'm sure you'll learn up! 🙂
P.S. I don't know whether you know this, but I'd nominated you for a Liebster Award as well, earlier. You can check it out here if you want:

I was organizing my tags that needed to be done and I realized I didn’t reply back to this post! Thank you so much for the nomination and I’m super glad my word vomits are accessible enough to pique you interest!
I don’t think I’ve ever been stung by a bee. Maybe in an online game though haha.
Cheers,
Joey
