The Ice-cream Book Tag

First of all…

Ice-Creams-ice-cream-34733238-640-480

Yum!

Ok, I just had to do that 😛 For those of u who don’t know, I love ice-creams. Like Akansha (click here to know the story of this amazing little girl), I think I could live on them, too.

Moving on to the post now… I found this awesome book-tag at If We Shadows Have Offended… and although I wasn’t officially tagged, I was granted permission to do it. 😀

1- Peanut Butter: a very long book series that you really want to read, but probably won’t and why

I usually love book series, so I don’t think I know of any that I’ve decided not to read. Even if I don’t like the reviews, I’d probably give them a try, at least.

2- Chocolate: a book you would read over and over and over and over again

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Need I say more? 😉

Although I’d never thought of comparing it with chocolate before…

3- Pistachio: a book with a green cover

Road to Paradise by Paullina Simons. The only word that comes to my mind when I think of this book – loopholes. Loopholes here, loopholes there, loopholes almost everywhere. Please do NOT read this book. I’m sure there are far better books to spend the time on :/

4- Strawberry: a book with the cutest romance

anna2

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Parkins. The cutest romance, did you say? Well, that’s just what this book is. ❤

5- Lemon: a book with a sour ending

There’s obviously Allegiant by Veronica Roth… 😥

…but speaking of sour endings, there’s one classic that I’ll always remember…

Rings a bell? 😦

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

6- Mint: a children’s book that you like

51VB0hnD6mL

No Flying in the House by Betty Brock. It’s so sweet and beautiful and innocent! ❤

7- Vanilla: your favourite classic

That’s right, vanilla always goes with favourite! 😀

My favourite classic? Like, only one? This is gonna be hard…

aaand found it! 😀

IMG_20150426_173417

The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde. My all-time favourite…

8- Whipped Cream: a very long book that you read really really fast

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

It’s an 890 pages book, yet the first time I read it, I had it finished in less than 11 hours… and considering how I scrutinise every single line while I read, I think that was pretty fast.

That’s it, guys! I tag:

Have fun!

  2. You’re welcome! 🙂 Have fun and be sure to drop a link here so I can read your answers! 🙂
And that’s ok, almost everyone I’ve seen doing this tag chooses Allegiant for lemon… and it’s quite natural, isn’t it? That book left everyone feeling broken and miserable 😦

    • To be honest, I read the Percy Jackson series way faster than HP, but they’re all quite short, so I mentioned Order of the Phoenix. With Harry Potter, there were so many parts that I just kept reading over and over again! I think I might have absorbed them all in my marrow 😛

          • … Yeah, I’ve only read, like, oh wow I’m not even sure it’s either the first three or four though. Yes, well, you see… I do have an excuse. 😉 My mom didn’t want me to read them when I was younger so… This is the life I’ve been cursed with *dies inside* Instead I read Rick Riordan
and Sarah J. Maas and Wendy Mass so hey at least I’m not completely worthless! 😉

              • Hehe. You DO make a good point. The funny thing, however, is that I feel like I know everything about HP even though I know close to nothing. (Except spoilers, which some people hand out like candy… Ugh) My brother was obsessed with them a few years back, so we always played the video games and watched the first couple of movies OVER and OVER and OVER again… But hey, there is a VERY good chance that I will read HP this summer because my library’s summer reading program (for young adults and adults) for some STRANGE OUT OF THIS WORLD reason has mostly picture/board book authors on it. However, it does have J.K. Rowling. Doesn’t ever hurt to have an extra incentive. 😉

  3. Forget water, I’m literally choking on the entire sea here! My mom is looking at me like I’m crazy, which I am, but that’s not the point. Lol, you guys are the best ever. I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Bhramori, nobody does exclamation points like I do!!!!!!!) *snaps fingers and tries to sashay out, but trips and falls on face*
