For most people, weekends are a time when they relax a bit after working all throughout the week. For me, however, weekends have always been a time when, after working throughout the week, u just have to work harder. And I have always tried my best to get on with that with a smile on my face. This weekend, however, was an absolute mess. And I mean it. An absolute mess.
It started from Friday, actually. I am preparing for the medical exams in my country, so I take classes for that at a coaching institute. Every weekend, we are subjected to 7 hours and 45 minutes of rigorous study that we call the weekend classes. Last Sunday, we had been given a day off because of the elections going on in my state. So naturally, this Friday we were given backup classes to cover up for that – right from 10 am to 5.45 pm. Me being the serious student I am, got an added bonus: 3 more hours of the extra classes. That too at another branch of the institute. Soo… here’s the summary of how the last 3 days have turned out for me…
Friday
9.30 am : left home for the backup classes
10am – 5.45pm : backup classes
[5.45pm – 6pm : travelled to the other branch]
6pm – 9pm : extra classes
9pm – 10 pm : returned home after an almost 50mins long traffic jam
[So basically, 9.30am-10.30pm, I was outside home for these classes. If u haven’t done the calculation already, that’s a total of 13 HOURS]
10.30pm – 2.30am : Physics homework for next day’s weekend classes
Saturday
Woke up at 8am
10am – 12 pm : Physics homework contd. (yes, that’s how much homework we’re assigned)
1pm : left home for weekend classes
1.45pm – 9.15pm : Weekend classes
10 pm : Returned home
10.30pm – 12.30am : Chemistry homework for next day’s weekend classes
Sunday
Woke up at 7.30am
8.30am : left home for weekend classes
9am-4.45pm : Weekend classes
5.30pm: Returned home
7pm-11pm : Paperwork for mom
[Now it’s midnight here. I need to go to sleep.]
CONCLUSION: I am drained. Out of energy. Exhausted. And I think I’ve finally understood what it truly means to be bone-tired. AND I need to sleep. My brain is absolutely jammed. In fact, I don’t know why I’m still typing… I should sleep…
That’s all I had to blabber for now.
Did I mention I need to sleep?
Hoping u all had a weekend that was loads better than mine…
